あけましておめでとう! Happy New Year!

Hello everyone, happy New Year, and welcome back to fran-japani!

This year, 2013, is the year of the snake in Japan.

It is said that in general, snakes are a tricky lot. If a snake wants to move forward, its body undulates and it’s not easy to tell which direction it is going to go in. That’s the same with the 2013 year. It will seem to go in one direction, and then, very unexpectedly, it will veer in completely another direction. That’s why it will be so difficult to plan for. Those that will do best this year are the ones that have a natural ability to move at the pace of the snake and who are able to navigate tricky waters. Good luck everyone!

I have had a busy few months and will write about all my adventures in upcoming posts.

I hope that you have all had a safe and happy Christmas and New Year and that you will keep reading my blog in the coming months. I heard from some of you during my rest and want to say thank you to you all for being so loyal! It means a lot that you care enough not only to read my blog but to comment, and even send personal messages! THANK YOU!!
